WhatsApp introduces great news, exciting features for Android users

WhatsApp, the most used application for messaging worldwide, introduces biometric authentication features for Android users. Earlier this year, WhatsApp's iOS Facial authentication was introduced for users and has now been launched for WhatsApp Beta Android users, however its use is subject to the presence of a fingerprint scanner on the phone.

Follow these instructions to use this feature:

1)According to News, we open the WhatsApp Beta version on the Android device and select the menu option at the top right.

2)Now go to Settings and select an account option.

3)Here you will see the Privacy option.

4)Scroll down the page and see the Fingerprint Lock option (by default it will be closed).

5)Touch this option and turn it on.

6)The WhatsApp will then direct you to touch the fingerprint sensor.

7)Finally the WhatsApp will ask you for a set amount of time after which the app will automatically lock.

Surprisingly for both iPhone and iPad users, there is an option for both face and fingerprint recognition.
